Senior Production Planning Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage daily and weekly production planning processes by material/product category to ensure tight coordination with the global supply chain network.
• Organize weekly production meetings, issue weekly production plans, and coordinate resources including production lines, manpower, and materials.
• Prepare monthly supply plans with daily breakdowns to confirm specific production schedules.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional factory teams and report on plan execution, capacity issues, and regulatory constraints.
• Convert weekly production plans into QC release plans and track execution.
• Maintain planning master data to ensure the accuracy of control and reporting systems.
• Participate in ERP projects and system upgrades to enhance planning and reporting capabilities.
• Coordinate with CDMO vendors to reserve filling line capacity and track product shipments between the Nantong factory and CDMOs.
• Identify and execute improvement projects to achieve service levels, production planning, on-time delivery, and inventory targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Pharmacy, Logistics, Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of GMP/GDP standards.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain or production planning roles.
• Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems and experience with system implementation.
• Strong data statistical and analysis skills with clear logical thinking.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• English proficiency (CET-4 level or equivalent) and strong professional ethics.
