About the role
Responsibilities
- Strategically develop value streams in the mechanical sector, from planning to shopfloor implementation
- Identify capacity bottlenecks and develop optimal solutions in collaboration with production, logistics, and sales
- Establish and evolve standards for production planning, control, and capacity determination within SAP
- Create in-depth analyses and reports to support decision-making
- Manage medium- to long-term sales planning in coordination with sales departments
- Support the introduction of new software solutions, such as SAP IBP and MES systems
- Participate in digitalization and optimization projects, including layout and plant planning
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
- Proven professional experience in planning, controlling, and optimizing manufacturing processes, ideally in mechanical manufacturing
- Deep SAP knowledge, specifically in MM, PP, MRP, ATP, and S&OP
- Experience leading or contributing to complex digitalization projects in a production environment
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 and experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI and PowerQuery
- Strong analytical, solution-oriented, and structured way of working
- Fluent German and good English communication skills
