About the role

Responsibilities

  • Strategically develop value streams in the mechanical sector, from planning to shopfloor implementation
  • Identify capacity bottlenecks and develop optimal solutions in collaboration with production, logistics, and sales
  • Establish and evolve standards for production planning, control, and capacity determination within SAP
  • Create in-depth analyses and reports to support decision-making
  • Manage medium- to long-term sales planning in coordination with sales departments
  • Support the introduction of new software solutions, such as SAP IBP and MES systems
  • Participate in digitalization and optimization projects, including layout and plant planning

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Proven professional experience in planning, controlling, and optimizing manufacturing processes, ideally in mechanical manufacturing
  • Deep SAP knowledge, specifically in MM, PP, MRP, ATP, and S&OP
  • Experience leading or contributing to complex digitalization projects in a production environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI and PowerQuery
  • Strong analytical, solution-oriented, and structured way of working
  • Fluent German and good English communication skills
