About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop the monthly Master Production Schedule (MPS) to optimize service levels while managing resource constraints.
- Create level-loaded, capacity-constrained weekly and daily build schedules considering raw material, labor, and equipment availability.
- Analyze and implement long-term supply chain strategies to address capacity issues and production location decisions.
- Conduct daily and weekly operations calls with manufacturing sites and Global Supply Chain to align on production schedules and recovery plans.
- Facilitate monthly S&OP discussions and weekly Sales & Operation Execution to drive service commitments.
- Utilize SAP/APO to ensure accurate demand signal flow and build prompts throughout the value stream.
- Manage supply chain metrics including finished goods, subassembly, backorder, backlog, and inventory targets.
- Lead complex projects such as production capacity optimization, agility transfers, and global inventory network balancing.
- Apply Lean Sigma DMAIC methodologies to drive continuous improvement in processes and service levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant Supply Chain experience, or an advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in supply chain planning, inventory, capacity, or operations planning.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically within the medical device industry.
- Proficiency with SAP/QAD or other ERP systems.
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master's).
- APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or Lean Sigma DMAIC Green Belt certification.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
