About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated manufacturing support functions, including line clearance, labeling, capping, and equipment sanitation.
  • Operate machinery such as labelers, canning machines, overwraps, and checkweighers in compliance with SOPs and cGMPs.
  • Lead the On-the-Job-Training (OJT) process for new colleagues and contractors.
  • Serve as a backup for the Group Leader, providing guidance on production, compliance, and operational goals.
  • Support SAP transactions, including scheduling and consuming commodities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including batch records, check sheets, and logbooks.
  • Conduct quality inspections, pH testing, and volume/leak testing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Pfizer Pharmaceutical Assistant role.
  • Ability to make minor mechanical machine adjustments.
  • Aseptic training for fill line assignments.
  • Ability to lift 15-20 pounds frequently and occasionally lift in excess of 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a Certified Trainer course.
  • Experience with SAP transactions in a manufacturing environment.
