About the role

Responsibilities

Strategic planning, management, and execution of all citrus production activities
Management of all farming facets including irrigation, fertilization, crop protection, pruning, and harvest planning
Monitoring and optimization of production, quality, and yields according to best agricultural practices
Effective management, development, and motivation of production teams
Planning and control of budgets, resources, and input costs
Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, labor, and health and safety requirements
Collaboration with technical advisors and other management members to achieve production goals
Implementation of new technologies and innovative farming practices to improve efficiency

Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture, Crop Production, or a related field
5–10 years of relevant experience in citrus production, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
Excellent knowledge of modern citrus cultivation and farming management
Proven experience in personnel management, budget control, and production planning
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Computer literacy and experience with agricultural and management software
Valid driver's license
Passion for sustainable agriculture and continuous improvement
