Senior Production Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead 3D metrology, equipment, tooling, and reliability engineering teams to optimize production assets for the 787 program.
• Develop and implement integrated departmental plans to ensure business, technical, and customer requirements are met.
• Forecast and oversee personnel, facilities, services, equipment, and tools to meet project requirements.
• Coach, mentor, and provide developmental opportunities to first-level managers and engineering staff.
• Build strategic multi-functional and cross-organizational partnerships to resolve problems and improve processes.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement by deploying enterprise best practices to improve cost, quality, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
• 3+ years of professional communication experience with employees, customers, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience driving continuous improvement in a production-facing role.
• 4+ years of experience building a safety and quality-first culture.
• 4+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams in support of production operations.
• Experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) principles and system health measures.
• Experience with production build plan ownership and building organizational talent pipelines.
