Senior Production Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering teams in Final Assembly for the 787 production line
• Develop and implement integrated departmental plans to meet business, technical, and customer requirements
• Coach, mentor, and provide developmental opportunities to first-level managers and staff
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement focused on waste elimination, safety, and first-pass quality
• Build strategic multi-functional and cross-organizational partnerships to resolve complex problems
• Oversee personnel, facilities, equipment, and tools to ensure departmental goals are met
• Provide input on departmental business strategies, goals, and performance metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
• 3+ years of professional communication experience with employees and leadership at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience driving continuous improvement in a production-facing role
• 4+ years of experience building a safety and quality-first culture
• 4+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams in support of production operations
• Experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) principles and system health measures
• Experience with production build plan ownership and building organizational talent pipelines
