Senior Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with global engineering and operations teams to analyze well and field performance.
• Drive production optimization through the development and application of data-driven and physics-based technologies.
• Partner with cross-disciplinary teams (reservoir, facilities, wells) to identify opportunities for debottlenecking and schedule optimization.
• Conduct periodic assessments of field production system health and perform economic evaluations for well interventions and stimulations.
• Manage production data quality assurance, including measurement and allocation.
• Mentor and develop the technical capabilities of team members through training and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in petroleum, chemical, mechanical, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum GPA of 7.0.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Production Engineering.
• Proven experience in mentorship and team leadership.
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary projects.
• Deep subject matter expertise in inflow/outflow modeling, artificial lift methods, and reservoir surveillance.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating critical operating parameters via data and trend analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with engineering applications such as IPM (GAP, PROSPER, Resolve), OFM, and Hysys.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Matlab, C#).
• Familiarity with data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, SeeQ, XHQ).
• Experience with production database management (e.g., Energy Components, PI, SQL).
• Knowledge of digital oil field tools and workflows.
