About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with operations, maintenance, and subject matter experts to optimize plant performance and solve technical problems.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause investigations for equipment failures, asset utilization losses, and unplanned events.
- Apply and improve Most Effective Technology (MET), process automation, and operating discipline to drive reliable operations.
- Monitor daily process data, alarm history, and key performance indicators to improve yield, operating rates, and waste reduction.
- Provide engineering support for critical equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and spare parts strategy.
- Contribute technical input to turnaround planning, work orders, and equipment reliability analysis.
- Maintain a strong field presence to provide guidance during procedure development and reinforcement of critical operating steps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical engineering preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
- Ability to meet physical demands, including wearing safety equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various industrial environments.
