About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with operations, maintenance, and subject matter experts to optimize plant performance and solve technical problems.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause investigations for equipment failures and unplanned events.
- Monitor daily process data, alarm history, and key process indicators (KPIs) to improve yield and reduce waste.
- Provide engineering support for critical equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and spare parts strategy.
- Maintain a strong field presence to provide technical guidance during procedure development and reinforcement of safety precautions.
- Contribute engineering input to turnaround planning, work orders, and equipment reliability analysis.
- Ensure compliance with plant operating permits and optimize site integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is required (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Ability to meet physical demands, including wearing safety equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various industrial environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and how unit operations interact.
- Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve flow.
- Strong data analysis skills to guide troubleshooting and operational decisions.
