Senior Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software within a complex, critical, and large cross-departmental environment.
• Drive Continuous Delivery and Automation efforts through Root Cause Analysis, performance tuning, and knowledge management.
• Implement Agile frameworks such as SCRUM or Kanban to ensure integration with organizational processes.
• Improve service levels by maximizing operational efficiencies and strengthening incident and problem management.
• Coach team members on engineering best practices and identify anti-patterns to address.
• Communicate project status and progress clearly to stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a critical software development role with high business impact.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and GitOps.
• Deep knowledge of computer science concepts including networking, operating systems, virtualization, and containerization.
• Proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills to isolate root causes across infrastructure, application, and database stacks.
• Experience with senior stakeholder management and professional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Operational experience deploying services at scale using Docker, Kubernetes, and service meshes like Istio.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with middleware technologies like MQ or Apache Kafka.
• Proficiency with end-to-end observability stacks such as Datadog, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
