Senior Product Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the manufacturing test process through the product lifecycle, including development, production, and depot activities
• Troubleshoot product hardware and provide accurate rework instructions
• Lead projects to reduce test time and improve efficiency, yields, and capacity
• Create and maintain spares and test equipment obsolescence plans
• Develop Basis of Estimates (BOE) to estimate costs for capacity, new capabilities, and equipment obsolescence
• Maintain test equipment technical data packages, including drawings, instructions, and system software
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations using fault trees and knowledge point plans
• Perform risk assessments and support program risk register reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience
• Experience with electrical/electronic testing
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with interpretation of technical documentation
• Experience with project execution and data analysis
• Experience with hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
