Senior Product Owner, Hardware

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical program lifecycle for multiple concurrent new product introductions (NPI)
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements, deliverables, and schedules
• Lead Agile/Scrum practices including backlog refinement and sprint planning with internal teams and external partners
• Facilitate technical decision-making and risk mitigation
• Oversee EVT, DVT, and PVT phases, managing hardware, firmware, and software release planning
• Coordinate with international engineering and manufacturing partners across global time zones
• Maintain program health dashboards and present status reports to executive leadership
• Support go-to-market activities and launch readiness assessments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related STEM field
• Minimum 3 years in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Technical Program Management
• Experience in consumer electronics or smart hardware product development
• Experience with embedded systems or mobile/IoT application integration
• Proven success managing full-lifecycle projects with international JDM/OEM/ODM partners
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work non-standard hours for global coordination and travel internationally to partner facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background in engineering, embedded systems, or product design
• Experience with subscription-based software services and mobile applications
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and product certification processes
• PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist certifications
