About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Gas Business Unit (Dormont brand) activities, including new product identification, opportunity assessment, and lifecycle management.
- Execute the Watts Stage Gate Process to generate new ideas and launch new products.
- Develop and execute product portfolio strategies, including value propositions, roadmaps, and lifecycle management for commercial-grade gas appliance applications.
- Maximize product line performance regarding orders, sales growth, profitability, and cash-flow generation.
- Manage New Product Development (NPD) launch plans, coordinating internal and external resources, investment budgets, and marketing campaigns.
- Lead major business reviews, including Business Plans, Strategy Plans, and Annual Operating Plans.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve go-to-market strategies and channel partner management.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to track trends and competitor movements.
- Supervise the Engineering Development Product Manager and the Product and Engineering Services Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of Product Management experience.
- Proven success in developing and implementing strategic and financial business plans.
- Proven leadership ability to lead virtual teams and work effectively within a matrix environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to support training and customer visits.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA degree.
- Experience with commercial-grade gas appliance applications.
- Relevant engineering experience.
- Experience in sales channel management.
