Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the discoverability of Springer Nature research content across external platforms such as Google and PubMed
• Evolve and deliver strategies regarding how content is utilized in new AI-powered tools like ChatGPT and Claude
• Develop and execute strategies for content protection and anti-piracy in collaboration with Legal and other internal teams
• Prioritize product roadmaps and work closely with cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and data analysts
• Drive key business metrics associated with Subscription, Transformative Agreement, and Open Access revenue lines
• Establish and evolve partnerships with trusted entities in the research communication ecosystem

Requirements

• Proven Product Leader with a history of turning business objectives into actionable roadmaps
• Demonstrable success managing customer-focused digital products
• Experience managing products across the full lifecycle, from inception to retirement
• Skilled in agile delivery environments with the ability to influence engineering teams
• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving offsite visibility through SEO or GEO strategies
• Experience designing and delivering content protection policies or strategies
• Background working in research communication, media, or publishing
