Senior Product Manager, Recommendations

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for Platform Recommendations
• Identify unique problem spaces across surfaces and develop strategic recommendations backed by data
• Lead KPI definition and defense, proposing clear primary decision metrics
• Own end-to-end experiment design, including defining test contracts and maintaining rigor
• Drive experiments to concrete decisions and prevent KPI drift
• Partner closely with ML Research, Engineering, Merchandising, and Analytics teams
• Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders and executive leadership

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in recommendations, personalization, or ML/AI-driven products
• Strong analytical rigor with experience in A/B testing and statistical significance
• Technical depth working with ML engineers on ranking, optimization, and signal-based systems
• Proven track record of driving complex, ambiguous initiatives from framing to delivery
• Experience in streaming, media, entertainment, or large-scale content platforms
• Familiarity with recommendation systems, content ranking, or collaborative filtering at scale
• Experience with GenAI/LLM applications in product discovery
• BS/MS in a quantitative field such as Engineering, CS, or Mathematics

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree
• Experience operating across multiple product surfaces like TV, mobile, and web
