About the Company

Pylon is building America’s mortgage rails through a vertically integrated platform that turns mortgage origination into a single API. Backed by prominent investors including Peter Thiel and founders of Ramp and Mercury, Pylon is creating the programmatic infrastructure to unlock speed and scale across the mortgage lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end experience throughout the mortgage origination lifecycle, from point of sale to capital markets delivery.
• Build scalable, modular origination infrastructure across APIs, decisioning, capital, compliance, and UI elements.
• Leverage AI and LLMs to drive core product experiences such as document extraction and optimizers.
• Partner closely with engineering, GTM, and Account Management teams to support the deal process and customer success.
• Onboard and manage 3rd party integrations and strategic partners.
• Spec, build, and launch support for new loan products.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the software industry, ideally as a product manager or engineer.
• Significant experience building 0-1 enterprise software in regulated industries.
• Proficiency in running SQL queries to analyze user data and identify trends.
• Experience conducting user research using various methods.
• Ability to create wireframes and workflow diagrams using Figma or similar tools.
• Strong design sense and ability to collaborate with designers.
• Ability to manage strategic partners effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on mortgage products or fintech infrastructure.
• Deep interest in mastering the mortgage value chain.
