About the role

Responsibilities

  • Capture documentation and analysis of end-to-end data flows and traceability to determine enterprise data impacts
  • Support business units in documenting requirements and data mappings for enterprise data management processes
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and support of new data management and governance technologies
  • Define and promote new enterprise data management practices across the organization
  • Monitor and track business unit progress towards data management and governance Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Ensure data governance is integrated into existing processes including PDLC, SDLC, Architecture Review, and Risk Control
  • Work with technical data Stewards and stakeholders to understand business impacts and the feasibility of data solutions
  • Implement data governance procedures, artifacts, and training materials required for the Data Stewardship Program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Engineering, or a closely related field
  • 5 years of experience in SQL query authoring and working with various databases
  • 5 years of experience in Sensitive Data Handling (Legal & Regulatory)
  • 3 years of experience in Master Data Management (Customer & Product)
  • 3 years of experience in Data Risk Management and compliance (CCPA & GDPR)
  • Cloud Services certification (AWS or GCP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra or similar data catalog tools
  • Experience working with payments or banking platforms and products
