Senior Product Manager, Hardware

Responsibilities

• Define and drive new hardware products from requirement definition through development to market launch
• Identify user needs to develop product requirements and a strategic product roadmap
• Prioritize features and tasks using internal tools while tracking product direction
• Write clear, detailed product specifications and manage cross-functional collaboration
• Guide go-to-market and maintenance plans through product launch and beyond
• Monitor feedback, support, and analytics to plan continuous improvements
• Develop a deep understanding of customers, competitors, and technology to serve as the voice of the customer
• Work with leadership to create a coherent product strategy that connects to wider business goals

Requirements

• Hardware engineering or physics background
• Experience shipping software-enabled hardware products to customers
• Experience as a product founder or leading products in a startup environment
• Proven ability to make data-driven decisions
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Process-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Life science, medical, or engineering degree
• MBA or experience in a consulting role
• Familiarity with manufacturing, regulatory, or product standards in healthcare or life sciences
• Experience with 3D printing technologies and materials
• Familiarity with Tableau or SQL
