Senior Product Manager, Hardware

Responsibilities

• Identify upcoming user needs and develop product requirements and roadmaps to address them
• Prioritize features and tasks for the product using internal tools and tracking progress frequently
• Write clear, crisp, and detailed product specifications
• Manage collaboration and communication with internal and external teams to ensure efficient workflows
• Guide go-to-market and maintenance plans through product launch and beyond
• Monitor feedback, support, and analytics to plan continuous improvements
• Develop a deep understanding of customers, business, competitors, and technology
• Work with leadership to create a coherent product strategy and vision connected to wider business goals
• Identify new adjacent opportunities and propose products to capture them

Requirements

• Hardware engineering or physics background
• Experience shipping software-enabled hardware products to customers
• Experience as a product founder or leading products in a startup environment
• Ability to make data-driven decisions
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Process-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering degree
• MBA or experience in a consulting role
• Familiarity with manufacturing, regulatory, or product standards in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences
• Experience with 3D printing technologies and materials
