Senior Product Manager - Hardware

Efficient is developing the world’s most energy-efficient general-purpose computer processor. Their patented technology uses 100x less energy than state-of-the-art processors, enabling perpetual, pervasive intelligence for IoT devices and AI/ML applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the silicon product roadmap from near-term tape-out to multi-generation platform strategy
• Translate customer needs and market dynamics into clear product specifications and Market Requirements Documents (MRD)
• Partner with engineering to define performance targets, power envelopes, and memory architecture
• Lead customer discovery and represent silicon in technical discussions and design-win conversations
• Drive alignment between product requirements and engineering execution priorities
• Partner with Software PM on hardware-software co-design requirements
• Define platform requirements including development systems, evaluation kits, and reference designs

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor product management or silicon architecture
• Experience managing at least one full silicon product cycle from requirements to customer sampling
• Working knowledge of SoC architecture (memory hierarchy, power domains, interconnects, etc.)
• Direct experience in customer engagement and translating application requirements into silicon specs
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills to drive alignment across architecture, design, and software teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MCUs, embedded AI processors, DSPs, FPGAs, or spatial computing architectures
• Experience in a high-ownership startup environment
• Familiarity with embedded AI deployment workloads and edge inference requirements
• Experience with silicon benchmarking and competitive analysis in the edge AI space
• Experience with compiler-hardware co-design or hardware-software interface definition
