Senior Product Manager - Financial Infrastructure (Cards)

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the financial infrastructure platforms powering settlement, reconciliation, and money movement for Wise's global card programme.
• Build scalable settlement and reconciliation capabilities across Visa, Mastercard, and future payment networks.
• Improve financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and transparency across card processing flows.
• Design systems that help Finance teams close faster and investigate issues more efficiently.
• Reduce operational complexity through automation and stronger financial controls.
• Partner with teams launching new Spend products to design the required financial architecture.
• Align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Finance, Treasury, Operations, and Compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in financial platforms and infrastructure.
• Background in payments, cards, acquiring, or issuing.
• Knowledge of settlement and reconciliation systems.
• Experience with ledger or accounting platforms.
• Strong systems-thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
• Ability to navigate complex financial and operational workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with card issuing or major payment networks.
• Understanding of clearing and reconciliation processes.
• Experience partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, or Risk teams.
• Familiarity with financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience building platform or infrastructure products at scale.
