Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Translate product vision into a multi-quarter roadmap for molecular data consumption and analytics
• Define researcher and developer experiences for querying and analyzing omics data at scale
• Lead interoperability requirements for connecting the platform to enterprise analytical environments like SageMaker and Databricks
• Specify analytics APIs and data structures to support agentic AI systems
• Define benchmarking requirements and performance metrics for engineering optimization
• Lead customer and design partner programs with pharma and biotech partners
• Drive cross-functional execution by authoring Epics and User Stories for engineering pods
• Communicate product, customer, and competitive insights to senior leadership

Requirements

• 7+ years in product management, specifically owning platform or infrastructure products
• Experience in data warehousing and distributed analytics frameworks (Spark, Trino, DuckDB, or BigQuery)
• Technical depth in distributed compute concepts and API design
• Proven track record of both zero-to-one product launches and managing mature products
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in regulated data environments (life sciences, genomics, or clinical research) is strongly preferred
• Foundational knowledge of molecular biology and genomics is strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the omics platform ecosystem (Hail, Databricks, TileDB)
• Background as a computational biologist, bioinformatician, or research scientist
• Experience designing agent-friendly APIs or AI-integrated life sciences products
• Experience with consumption-based or tiered platform pricing models
