About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product scope for Datadog’s managed security provider experience, focusing on MSSP and MDR workflows.
  • Translate provider needs into clear requirements for federated detection, cross-environment hunting, alert management, and multi-tenant workflows.
  • Partner with Detection Engine engineering to extend hunting and alerting capabilities across multiple customer environments.
  • Own key capabilities end-to-end, from initial discovery and requirements through launch, iteration, and adoption tracking.
  • Define and track success metrics including provider adoption, alert management efficiency, and time to triage.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience building enterprise software for technical users.
  • Familiarity with security operations workflows such as threat detection, incident response, or detection engineering.
  • Strong product sense with the ability to balance technical systems thinking and intuitive user experience design.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams.
  • Data-driven approach to problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in security or observability domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools in day-to-day workflows.
  • Motivation to contribute to building AI-enabled products.
