Senior Product Manager

Convex is a backend platform designed to codify good systems design principles, ensuring simplicity, correctness, scale, and performance for the next generation of application development and coding agents.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with founders and engineering to develop a clear product point of view
• Spend time with customers to understand their workflows and pain points
• Own product analytics and use data to drive product conviction
• Collaborate with the CEO and Head of Ops on positioning and messaging
• Drive product direction and prioritization in a fast-moving market

Requirements

• Deep product experience at a technical or developer-facing company
• Proven track record of shaping product direction
• High level of technical comfort and ability to engage with technical tradeoffs
• Strong analytical instincts and experience with data-driven decision making
• Experience owning positioning and messaging for complex technical products
• Experience as a sole or early PM building a product function
• Ability to work in-person at the San Francisco office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working closely with founding teams in a startup environment
• A strong bias toward simplicity and clarity in product design
