Senior Product Manager - AI Governance

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a governance and control plane for AI agents within enterprise Jira environments.
• Strengthen platform capabilities for reliable configuration movement, programmatic access, and visibility.
• Extend the governance model to treat AI agents as configuration, enabling deployment, comparison, and rollback.
• Build a control plane for AI activity, including discovery, searchable inventory, and audit trails.
• Own the policy engine that enforces rules for agent actions at runtime.
• Manage partner relationships, specifically with Atlassian, to align with their AI roadmap.
• Conduct regular customer discovery with enterprise Jira platform admins and IT leaders.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a product manager owning complex, technical, enterprise infrastructure or governance products.
• Experience managing products that span multiple different domains and teams.
• Proven ability to engage and gather requirements from senior technical buyers (CISOs, CIOs, platform admins).
• Strong, structured customer discovery skills.
• A track record of shipping products in phases against a long-term roadmap.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, JSM, Forge).
• Familiarity with AI agent tooling or LLM platform governance.
• Experience building or overseeing a policy or rules engine.
