Senior Product Engineer

Quanta is an AI-powered accounting and finance platform that fixes a major frustration for businesses: stale and slow financial data. By rebuilding accounting from the ground up, Quanta enables business decisions to be made with timely, complete, and explainable financial information.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve core infrastructure including ledgers, reconciliation pipelines, and automation workflows
• Model complex business operations into software abstractions
• Own problems from initial discovery through to shipped production solutions
• Design modular systems with clear guardrails to ensure data integrity and stability
• Explore and implement AI as a force multiplier for product design and maintenance
• Ship high-quality code quickly while maintaining extreme reliability

Requirements

• 6–7+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Experience on small, high-impact B2B teams
• Strong technical fundamentals in modern backend and frontend systems
• Expertise in systems thinking, API design, and data modeling
• Product mindset with strong judgment regarding technical tradeoffs
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work with self-direction
• Strong collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial systems, ledgers, or accounting workflows
