Senior Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain detailed technical specifications for BESS and DC Cabinet products
• Review and approve engineering drawings including SLDs, GAs, schematics, and BoMs
• Perform in-depth component sizing for fuses, busbars, cables, and thermal management
• Lead technical engagement with vendors through RFQs, design reviews, and FAT
• Drive iterative product development cycles and manage the ECR/ECN process
• Support business development with technical proposals and SOC analysis
• Participate in commissioning and integrate field lessons into product design

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field
• 6+ years of engineering experience in BESS, power electronics, or UPS systems
• Proven experience in full product development cycles from concept to deployment
• Expertise in component sizing and thermal sizing for enclosed cabinets
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent E-CAD tools
• Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data center, UPS, or utility-scale BESS
• Familiarity with UL 9540 / 9540A and NFPA 855 standards
• Experience with PLM tools and structured ECR/ECN workflows
