About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-speed interface bring-up, compliance validation, and margin testing for complex mixed-signal ICs.
  • Plan and execute qualification programs, defining test conditions and pass/fail criteria across multiple product lines.
  • Perform interface characterization across PVT and configuration spaces, correlating bench data to simulation models.
  • Conduct signal integrity and protocol-level debug, including eye diagrams, jitter, BER, and equalization behavior.
  • Correlate bench characterization with ATE results to support test content, limits, and yield robustness.
  • Develop automation frameworks using Python or MATLAB to improve validation throughput and data reduction.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers regarding debug approaches and test plans.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience in high-speed interface validation (e.g., SerDes, JESD, or related PHY concepts).
  • Strong fundamentals in signal integrity and lab measurements, including jitter, BER testing, and high-speed probing.
  • Proficiency in lab automation and data analysis using Python or MATLAB.
  • Experience in mixed-signal product development and translating lab data into product guidance.
  • Proven ability to lead qualification and characterization programs.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to drive technical issues to closure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in high-speed interface validation or mixed-signal product development.
  • Experience with FPGA-based validation platforms and embedded software/firmware workflows.
