Senior Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build integrations linking practice management systems, cloud data warehouses, and clearinghouses
• Harden existing integrations to ensure reliable data flow and build monitoring, alerting, and observability
• Design and ship dashboards, worklists, and workflows for clinic staff to manage revenue cycles
• Automate the claims and denials lifecycle through configurable, rule-based automation
• Write thoughtful tests for integration and billing logic to ensure correctness and reliability

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience building production web applications
• Direct experience with healthcare billing, claims, or revenue cycle management
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
• Full-stack capability with a strong backend and data engineering focus
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and modern data tooling
• Product engineering mindset with high ownership and comfort with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating with specific EHR or practice management systems
• Experience with clearinghouses
• Familiarity with workflow automation or rule-based systems
• Exposure to value-based care or programs like APCM
• Experience turning internal tools into self-serve customer-facing products
