Senior Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and engineering execution of footwear products from concept through commercialization.
• Translate 2D design tech packs into physical footwear samples that meet performance, quality, and cost targets.
• Identify and resolve construction and manufacturing challenges to improve product integrity and profitability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Design, Materials, and Global Sourcing to ensure design intent and sustainability objectives are met.
• Provide footwear engineering technical training and consultation to Product Creation and Tier 1 teams.
• Lead the development and adoption of engineering standards and best practice documentation to scale globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of directly applicable footwear development or engineering experience across multiple categories.
• Strong technical expertise in footwear construction, including lasts, upper patterns, materials, chemistry, bottom tooling, and test methodologies.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end footwear product creation process, including production planning and scheduling.
• Demonstrated experience driving innovation through the Product Creation Process.
• Proven ability to lead engineering initiatives and work effectively in a cross-cultural, highly interdependent environment.
