Senior Product Development Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Own multiple soft and hard goods programs end-to-end, delivering to scope, schedule, quality, and cost
• Translate product requirements into clear specs with design and engineering while protecting design intent
• Drive cross-functional teams for DFx across plastics, textiles, and mixed-material assemblies
• Lead prototyping through production readiness including tooling, sampling, and approvals
• Source, evaluate, and onboard manufacturing partners and manage performance
• Coordinate packaging from dielines and artwork to structural validation and retail compliance
• Plan and execute validation and reliability testing including fit/function and abuse tests
• Manage safety and regulatory approvals for toys and consumer goods
• Establish QA/QC protocols and drive CAPA with vendors
• Maintain program dashboards and communicate risks and trade-offs to stakeholders

Requirements

• 10+ years in program or product development delivering soft and hard goods at scale
• Strong grasp of ME, CMF, and DFx with manufacturing processes like injection molding and sewing
• Background in textiles, plastics, color management, and packaging materials
• Experience with packaging engineering, transit testing, and factory QA/QC
• Proficiency with project tools including BOMs, schedules, and risk registers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or comparable program management certification
• Hands-on experience with toy and consumer-goods safety and regulatory labs
• Rapid prototyping fluency across soft and hard goods
• Strong supplier development and contract negotiation experience
• Experience with sustainability initiatives and eco-labeling
