About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the full costing process for luxury jewellery, ensuring accuracy across diamonds, precious metals, labour, and supplier pricing
- Maintain pricing governance and monitor cost variances to support margin management
- Act as the custodian of product data across SAP, Firebrand, and PD systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of Product Approval Forms and Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Coordinate end-to-end Product Development timelines, ensuring clear stage-gate governance and on-time progression
- Drive deadline adherence across cross-functional teams by tracking risks, dependencies, and critical paths
- Develop and maintain KPIs to track cost accuracy, development timelines, and margin impact
- Use digital tools like Asana and Power BI to track development stages and provide visibility to stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience in product development, costing, or commercial operations
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with SAP experience being highly desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial literacy (budgeting, variance analysis)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate complex timelines and stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the luxury jewellery or high-value manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles
- Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and process-flow optimisation
- Formal project management training (e.g., Prince2)
- Experience using Asana or Power BI
