Responsibilities

• Own the product experience end-to-end, from early concepts to polished, shipped features
• Shape how users interact with AI voice agents by turning complex workflows into intuitive experiences
• Work side-by-side with engineers and founders to define and ship features
• Conduct customer interviews and translate user pain points into design solutions
• Proactively raise the UX bar by identifying friction and driving improvements
• Build and evolve Retell’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability
• Influence product direction through taste-driven decisions and clear rationale

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer working on shipped products
• Strong user-centered design background (HCI, design, or equivalent)
• Excellent product taste with a strong sense of usability and visual clarity
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguity
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on polish and consistency
