Responsibilities

• Make deeply complex systems feel simple to people who don't care how they work
• Set the design standard for the team and raise the craft bar across the entire product surface
• Lead with customers through on-site research to drive product direction
• Drive alignment across PM, engineering, and GTM

Requirements

• 6+ years designing complex software used daily under pressure
• Track record of defining new interaction paradigms
• Proven ability to conduct independent user research
• CS degree or equivalent builder experience with ability to understand underlying systems
• Proficiency in prototyping in code (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code)
• Ability to design across all product surfaces
• Strong interest in AI and its impact on product design

Preferred Qualifications

• Point of view on AI-human interaction and agentic UX
• Experience designing for non-technical operators
• Comfort in zero-to-one environments and ambiguity
• Ability to move quickly between different design fidelities
• Experience in regulated or high-stakes domains like healthcare or finance
