About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise-scale Design Systems
- Create and maintain reusable UI components, patterns, documentation, and guidelines across platforms
- Ensure consistency and scalability across mobile (iOS, Android) and web/desktop applications
- Drive the end-to-end UX process including research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and testing
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Business stakeholders within Agile squads
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive and scalable design solutions
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on data and feedback
- Champion accessibility, usability, and performance standards across products
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Product Design / UX Design
- Proven experience building and managing enterprise Design Systems
- Strong hands-on experience in mobile (iOS & Android) and web/desktop design
- Deep understanding of UX methodologies and user-centred design principles
- Experience working in Agile environments within cross-functional squads
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in BFSI / FinTech, ideally within banking
- Exposure to SME banking products or digital banking platforms
- Experience working in large enterprise organisations
- Understanding of accessibility and regulatory compliance in financial products
