About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the design system across tokens, components, patterns, nesting, responsiveness, and interaction standards.
- Design scalable components for data-dense, workflow-heavy B2B SaaS applications.
- Partner closely with front-end engineering to bring the system into the codebase (Angular), ensuring tight parity between Figma and production.
- Establish a system that allows AI to consume design tokens and components to generate prototypes during the Discovery phase.
- Audit existing products to surface real use cases and transform them into reusable system definitions.
- Act as the authority on design and UX decisions within the system, resolving inconsistencies across the platform.
- Continuously trial and integrate new AI tools to reinvent the traditional design-to-engineering workflow.
Requirements
- Strong design-systems craft with a portfolio showing real-world adoption and scalable patterns.
- Ability to read code and engage technically with engineers (understanding of component-based architecture).
- Experience in B2B SaaS environments, specifically with data-rich or workflow-heavy products.
- AI-native workflow experience, with a curiosity for using AI to enhance design and prototyping speed.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prototype solutions rather than just documenting them.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment between Design, Product, and Engineering.
- A history of side projects that demonstrate technical or systemic tinkering.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary and annual incentive scheme.
- Healthy Living Allowance to support employee wellbeing.
- Commitment to professional development and career growth.
- A diverse and inclusive work environment that values unique perspectives.
