Senior Product Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Developing mechanical architectures from the ground up
• Technical ownership of the overall system, sub-system(s), or individual components
• Leading interactions with partner teams like industrial design, program management, operations, quality, and manufacturing partners
• Managing detailed design, CAD database, design validation, and issue tracking
• Anticipating and responding to challenges in manufacturing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in direct ownership of mechanical design for high volume consumer products
• Strong foundation in the first principles of mechanical design and best practices
• Hands on capability in creative prototyping approaches
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
