Senior Product Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Analyze product performance metrics across product lines, bundles, and features
• Enhance product-led growth metrics such as user activation, feature adoption, and expansion revenue
• Model customer usage patterns, needs, and retention drivers using statistical and machine learning methods
• Segment customers by lifecycle stage to inform targeted in-product experiences
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and product experiments
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for product managers and stakeholders
• Build dashboards to track PLG KPIs and OKRs

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Product Data Science or supporting product-led SaaS teams
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Experience with machine learning techniques including classification, clustering, and regression
• Hands-on experience with experiment design and causal inference
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, churn, LTV, and CAC

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of telemetry and product analytics tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Gainsight
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Strong communication skills for presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
