Senior Product Compliance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering and Operations to deliver best-in-class products
• Interpret regulatory and product compliance requirements for NPD, Sales, and Factory
• Monitor and analyze changes in U.S., Canada, and EU regulations, focusing on EMC and RF (e.g., FCC) and Product Safety (e.g., IEC, UL, CSA)
• Develop and implement project planning and execution to achieve compliance targets
• Oversee coordination of EMC and Safety evaluation with factory and third-party testing partners
• Identify compliance-related risks and suggest mitigation strategies
• Obtain and maintain product regulatory certifications required for commercialization
• Provide compliance direction and lead regulatory input during the product design process
• Plan and support third-party and internal audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in compliance management
• Experience with design, testing, and compliance for EMC, Safety, and RF requirements
• Experience working with certification bodies and test labs
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management certification (e.g., PMI PMP)
