About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive modern product technology strategy, roadmap, and implementation through expert software architecture.
- Act as a hands-on leader, contributing to design, architecture, and code to support team velocity.
- Mentor and develop engineers in modern practices including microservices, cloud-native design, and DevSecOps.
- Define and drive KPIs and non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and customer needs.
- Establish and evolve reference architectures, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
- Identify technical risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of programming experience with languages such as Angular, React, NodeJS, Python, C#, .NET Core, or Golang.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native engineering (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically with Azure cloud-native services (e.g., AKS, Functions, Service Bus, CosmosDB).
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (e.g., MS).
- 3+ years of experience with AI/ML and GenAI.
- Experience with methodologies and tools such as XP, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, SRE, or GitHub.
- Deep understanding of software design principles including OOP/OOD, data structures, and algorithms.
- Prior experience with real estate, hospitality, or meeting and events platforms.
