Senior Producer

Responsibilities

• Pitch compelling stories using natural curiosity and creative storytelling skills
• Lead and motivate the newsroom team by guiding editorial decision-making
• Produce engaging, content-driven newscasts and digital content across all platforms
• Combine live video, graphics, and emotional sound to create immersive audience experiences
• Manage breaking news coverage and live streams for community events
• Use data analytics to shape show content and ensure diverse viewpoints are represented
• Meet strict daily deadlines while maintaining high journalistic standards

Requirements

• 3-5 years of news content experience
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field preferred
• Strong journalistic judgment and understanding of professional journalism tenets
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in social media and maintaining an active news presence
• Ability to handle high-pressure, live breaking news situations calmly
• Experience with ENPS and Edius systems is preferred
