About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category-specific procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Source and identify potential suppliers, assessing capabilities and suitability
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and compliance
- Collaborate with legal teams to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements
- Manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing
- Coordinate with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels
- Implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality
- Cultivate and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Track procurement KPIs and generate reports for senior management
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain roles
- Proven experience in the Oil and Gas sector
