Senior Procurement Material Buyer

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for materials, equipment, hardware, software, and services
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and government flow-down clauses
• Evaluate and manage strategic supplier relationships and track performance metrics
• Analyze engineering Bills of Material (BOM) and distribute RFQs
• Negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, and delivery schedules
• Prepare and execute purchase orders and modifications
• Enforce anti-counterfeit part detection systems in compliance with DFARS
• Maintain organized procurement files for internal processes and external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 5–7 years of direct material buying and procurement experience in the defense industry
• Experience supporting government-awarded, multi-phase programs
• Experience with internal procurement process improvement or DCMA CPSR frameworks
• Mentoring and management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP software
• US Citizenship is required
