Senior Procurement Agent

Responsibilities

• Create and manage major supplier purchase contracts to support Boeing Defense, Space & Security programs
• Lead negotiation of pricing, contract terms, and conditions to execute binding agreements
• Develop prioritization plans for the delivery of products, services, and data
• Consult with management and Integrated Product Teams on sourcing strategies and supply base management
• Monitor supplier capability, capacity, business health, and regulatory requirements
• Provide oversight for supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, and financial performance
• Participate in supply chain process improvement teams to identify integration opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Supplier Management or Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• 3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
• 3+ years of experience interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions
• 3+ years of experience leading proposals and negotiation efforts
• Experience with various contract types including Time & Materials (T&M), Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), and Cost Plus
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• 5+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
• 5+ years of experience administrating Cost Reimbursable purchase contracts
• 5+ years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
• 5+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and/or TINA (Truth in Negotiations Act)
