Senior Process Technician

Their proprietary Area Printing process allows metal components to be manufactured at price points and quality levels that compete directly with conventional manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate printers to produce parts according to manufacturing plans and conduct design of experiments (DOEs)
• Respond to printing operation issues and make necessary adjustments to maximize success
• Conduct basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Perform pre and post printing operations including cleaning chambers and loading powders/cartridges
• Manage print supplies such as raw materials, consumables, and replacement parts
• Post process printed parts and samples
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve printer design

Requirements

• Associate degree or above in engineering disciplines or documented AM experience
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or R&D in related fields
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary team environments
• Availability for 30% - 100% second or split shift coverage, including weekends as needed
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in commercial metal AM manufacturing facilities
• Experience operating laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) based metal printing
• Experience operating sophisticated industrial equipment
