Senior Process Improvement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional kaizen events to drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, people, and cost outcomes.
• Manage the end-to-end event lifecycle, including pre-event planning, stakeholder alignment, and post-event sustainment.
• Guide diverse teams through structured problem-solving methodologies such as root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and PDCA.
• Build trust and influence with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline associates to senior leadership up to the VP level.
• Develop comprehensive sustainment plans and partner with site leadership to ensure long-term process stability.
• Provide regular reporting on event execution, results, and sustainment status to network stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for operational and process improvement projects.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, 5Y, FMEA, PDCA, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate large group sessions and lead executive report-outs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, or related fields.
