About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve product quality
  • Develop and standardize job instructions and training documentation to ensure workforce consistency
  • Provide engineering support across 2nd and 3rd shifts, including weekend coverage and vacation relief as needed
  • Use problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, and DMAIC to resolve chronic equipment or process issues
  • Track and analyze production metrics and downtime data using Microsoft Excel and EAM systems
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and safety teams to support ergonomic improvements and accident root cause analysis
  • Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, scrap reduction, and productivity

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 5+ years of experience in Stamping operations
