Senior Process Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize performance within designated production areas, driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Oversee maintenance, continuous improvement, and overall efficiency of equipment across production lines and fabrication areas
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices and standardized work to maintain process stability
• Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis to address inefficiencies and facilitate kaizen events
• Coach equipment operators and Team Leaders to ensure adherence to established processes and standards
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to plan and execute long-term equipment and process improvement projects
• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures and leading incident investigations

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in engineering, maintenance, or project execution
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Engineering or a related field
• Experience working with or leading metal fabrication and/or automated equipment operations
• Strong knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven track record of driving results using analytical problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork
• Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including occasional off-shift, on-call, and weekend work

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma certification
