Senior Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from initial concept through to industrialization
• Design, plan, and layout plant systems, equipment, and machines to optimize efficiency
• Partner with EHS to ensure all equipment and processes adhere to safety guidelines
• Specify and recommend equipment and processes to maintain high quality levels
• Anticipate and resolve technical processing issues
• Utilize WCM tools, Lean Principles, and Six Sigma to ensure successful project starts
• Lead multi-functional teams to solve complex production problems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in process engineering
• 7+ years of experience in project engineering, specifically leading equipment installation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with project management responsibilities
• Proven track record using World Class Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Lean tools
• Experience with extrusion, lamination, or polymer/plastics (sheet and film) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
